New guy here and I've got questions

I booked a trip to Hilton Head in a couple of weeks after hearing about it from a golfing buddy. Me, my wife and out two young sons are coming for a week and staying in the Inn & Club in Harbour Town. I figure I have time to get in 2 - 3 early morning rounds of golf while there. What courses should I play?

New Guy-

Well since you're staying at the Inn I suggest playing the Heritage course (Harbourtown Golf Links, this is where they play the PGA tour event) since you will be literally on the course across the way from the clubhouse. There are also 2 other golf courses in sea pines plantation. They used to be called the sea marsh and ocean courses but I think they are now called green heron or something. Anyway, they are both located at the plantation club. As for others on the island, I cant help you as I have only played the sea pines courses. All three are great courses, the 18th green at the heritage has the classic view of the Calibogue Sound and the Lighthouse. Enjoy!

Golfguy,

I think JohnnyT has given you some good advice and you have a great location to stay in for the week. If you want to try outside of Sea Pines, the Palmetto Dunes Plantation has a couple of beautiful courses. You will need to ask about getting through the guard gate, since you're not staying there. I'm sure the golf reservations person can give you the details. Have a great trip and let us know what you thought of Hilton Head after your vacation.

Cheers,
Will
