Not what it used to be... 8/17/2007

Our bill was $200 with only 3 out of the 4 of us ordering entrees and no one ordering drinks. Food was ok, but not the way I remembered it from years ago. And the desserts were not good at all. The bottom line is we just wanted really good seafood and were very disappointed.

Getting Worse Year by Year 6/7/2007

This is the 3rd year in a row myself and my family have visited Red Fish for dinner.
The service well decent, the waitress was very unfriendly and obviously not happy that we did not order any wine. There was 5 of us.
Our food came out promptly but was just OK. I asked for most of my sauce on the side but that was not done according to what I asked.
The waitress at times seemed to disappear leaving us without drinks.
We will not go back to Red Fish next year as the service just seems to keep going down hill, In the past this was a restaurant we would always celebrate my Dad's birthday at but chose not to this year.
Don't waste your money or time.

Service was excellent 7/19/2006

We ate at Red Fish on 6/23/2006. My husband bought a bottle of wine from their wine shop. He enjoyed browsing through the shop. The service was excellent. The bread was tasty and we had a crab dip that was better than any we have ever had. However, my steak was mediocre and husband's shrimp dish bland. I don't think we would return here next visit.

Not Impressed 7/2/2006

We ate at Red Fish 6/29/06 and I was unimpressed with the food. The service was fine and the restaurant was very nice, but the most important factor, the food, was poor.
I had the chicken. It was undersized, overcooked and suprisingly bland. The garlic mashed potatos and fresh green beans were fine, but unispired.
Perhaps I caught them on an off night, but I was surprised to see the restaurant was 2/3 empty at 6:45 PM Thurday night during the high season. Maybe everyone else knew something I didn't.
I generally like to try a place more than once before passing judgement, but I won't be back. If you can't cook a chicken breast properly, you shouldn't be cooking professionally.
