Not the best pizza in the world, but it's the best Hilton Head has to offer. Try one of their white pies. They are very good.

Being from Chicago, we know not to expect much from pizza anywhere else :) I don't think one of us got pizza but everthing we tried (kids meals, buffalo chicken wrap, pasta) was all really good. The wait was insane, we ended up outside the first week in AUGUST, that wasn't fun, but we're on vacation and rather easy to please so we didn't make a big deal out of it. All in all we enjoyed our visit and will return there.

Decent Slice of Pie 2/23/2008

For a quick stop and decent pizza, we stopped by Giuseppe’s Pizza twice during our trip. It wasn't out-of-this-world or knock-your-socks-off pizza, but it wasn't bad national chain pizza either (even though I believe Giuseppe's is a regional chain). We tried both hand-tossed and thin crust pizza and I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference between the two. If you are staying in Palmetto Dunes and need a quick meal, I'd recommend Giuseppe's.
But if I had known there was a Mellow Mushroom on the island...

I have yet to find a pizza eatery that comes close to what we have at home. Not to suggest that Giuseppi's inst good for some taste its just not my idea of what good pizza is supposed to be. Like some others have suggested the wait for your order is quite long.

Great for pizza and greek salads - we always make it a point to eat in or take out - Giuseppe's thin crusted pizza is our favorite on the island.

Yep, you will feel like you are still at home with all the Pittsburgh sports paraphernalia around! Oh - the food is great too! We stayed in Shelter Cove, so we went to Giuseppi's our first night and enjoyed pizza, ravoli's (kids meal) and the garlic bread was great. We also ordered in pizza, hoagies and salads one day for lunch. NOT disappointed.

Although the wait is always long we always get great pizza and garlic bread. There is also an outdoor seating area and bar in an enclosed patio. Last year we ate at picnic tables outside the restaurant on paper plates.
