gave Alexander's another chance after a very disappointing meal at the beginning of the summer. Had hoped we just had an "off night", but this meal was no better. Scallops were overcooked and our server looked at me like I had two heads when I told her. I've had enough scallops in my life to know when they're overcooked - tough and dry..hello...
We gave them the benefit of the doubt and we got duped again...What is up with this place this year????

Chose Tilapia from the early dining menu. It was delicious - one of the best meals I have had on HH. Will definitely go there next time I visit.

after hearing some good things about alexanders, we gave it a try. we knew from the outset it was going to be a bad night. they were out of a couple items on the menu and it was only 7pm! waiter had a snotty attitude which made us want to leave immediately. service was slow and we felt as if we were "bothering" our server. very small portions - fish was dry and tasteless, tuna was overcooked even when we asked for it RARE - slap it on and slap it off. waiter asked how the meal was, we said the tuna was overcooked, he said he was sorry and WALKED OFF! are u kidding me??? This place has obviously become a little too taken with itself -- it just ain't that good. Owner/ manager -- you need to pull things together and have a "come to order" meeting with your staff - ASAP! Your reputation is suffering b/c of them.

has changed over the years..food was lackluster and so was service. didn't know who got what..brought one meal out completely wrong and told one of our friends that it WAS what they ordered..unbelievable.
very expensive for what you get

Never seen Alexander's? You're not alone, but you're becoming the minority. Turn into Palmetto Dunes and don't worry, you'll come upon Alexanders before you have to worry about any security guards checking you out. Just phenomenal food - but come early or make a reservation, it is always packed!

Very, very, very good food. We had to wait for over an hour even though we had a reservation. That was irritating but it was worth it. Our waiter was excellent and knew his wines well. I ate a scallop special that was out of this world. Would eat here again.
